Some crappy cell-phone pics I took at the Childish Gambino concert at The Palladium in Hollywood on Friday night.  They don’t really do it justice.

Schoolboy Q was good.  Too bad most people didn’t know any of his stuff (not even the A$AP songs he played…)

Briana came with me.  We had an epic time.

Best part of the night: we met SirAntiGravity!  By complete accident!  It went something like:  find a good place to stand near front, a little stage-left.  Talk to couple of people nearby between the Schoolboy Q and Childish sets.  Nerd out with cool dude about Childish and Hip-Hop in general.  He mentioned working events at Palladium, I mentioned shooting Guadalupe festival at the Coliseum.  He goes “that sounds familiar, do you have a Tumblr or a Twitter” / “yeah” / “whats your user name?” / “poldberg” / “Oh shit! We follow each-other, I’m SirAntiGravity!”  Hugs followed.

It’s crazy that we could have never brought up Tumblr and never would have known.  Or Briana and I could have walked one foot farther (or anywhere else in the venue) and never even seen him.  Small world.  Cool people are cool, Tumblr is awesome.
